Trumpet Plants - by day

Trumpet Plants as taller than the house.

Yes, they are poisonous but look below at my animals.

Pink Trumpet Plants

More Pink Trumpet Plants.

The flower is a delicate cream with pink around the base of the flower.

My Deep Pink trumpets haven't bloomed.  I'll add them when they do.

I just got some variegated Trumpet Plants and will plant them today.  I'll add them later.

Most of the Plants to the left of the rabbits are Angel Trumpet Plants

and yes, when it rains, it floods in the far back of the yard.  On those days, I miss my ducks.

For those interested that little mound of mud with a hole in the middle is a mudbug hole (crawfish).

Yes, it rains a lot in Houston!

Yes, it says Green Acres.

This cactus only blooms at night.  I missed it last year.

But glad I was able to see it this year.

Fluffy Butt - a little out of focus

Fluffy Butt....you want me to do what?

Fluffy Butt thinking she's a Princess....where's that pea?

My usual view of Fluffy Butt when I am on the computer.  Treats?

Itty Bitty Kitty - he is the oldest, highest in pecking order.  He eats First!

I think he's close to 20 years old. He's my buddy! I am not usually out of his sight for long.

Blondie....she's not our cat, but she lives here, eats here, sleeps here.

Blue (aka Big Ears) brought her home one day and she's decided she likes it here.

Here's the culprit now, Blue aka Big Ears.  He Grew into his enormous ears.

One day Gloria and Cheryl came over with a kitten....the rest is history.

Look closely, here's the other cat that isn't mine, but hung around so long that I trapped him,

had him neutered and I guess he liked the drugs because he got trapped again the next evening.

He is a feral cat and I have worked with him for years and,

on a good day, if HE so chooses, I can pet his back twice, maybe!

The illusive Woods Kitty, she got her name because we can't touch her, and seldom see her.

She used to live in the woods behind our house.  Yes, she was born in our bedroom and is our cat.

I have always said the reason she is untouchable is because she was born while I was at convention and Mickey didn't nurture her.

Bubba the Goat - The most expensive $1 raffle ticket I ever bought.

The Girls

The Girls were a business decision (lol)

The local feed store was using the pen I put my sale bunnies in for them.

I had 6 bunnies to sell they had 3 chickens to sell, so I bought the chickens to make room for my bunnies.

BTW, I made a profit and have gotten 3 eggs every day for 3-4 years.

I hear cacklin, and it's not me!

These are aracona chickens, they lay colored eggs, looks like a bluish and an olive one.

Girls looking in the guest room on the side deck!

The black blob on the perch is Sugar our Double Yellow Headed Parrot

but look in the pot in the background, there is a little Holland Lop rabbit.

Growing rabbits in pots is quite a secret...shhhhh!

(We lost sugar October 2004.  I am sure I'll see her at Rainbow Bridge.)

Empty Barrel Fountain.....It looks better with water but we found the snake between the liner and the barrel on the second one.

The Queen is Dead, Worker Bees are gone.  Think I need a hive, what do you think.

Yes, there is more..............

Beware, Beware, Beware......

If you are squeemish, don't click here......

Come Back often. I'll be adding more pictures and might even make this a frames page.....It's looking that way now.

I'll be adding cavys and rabbits soon.  And all this is just the back yard!
